Like a robotic phoenix rising from the post-apocalyptic ashes, NeoPangea's Intern Abuser rears its mechanized head again, this time as a nominee for the Viral Project of the Year in the 2013 Philly Geek Awards!
The Philly Geek Awards are an annual black-tie awards ceremony that takes place at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University every August. A joint venture between the museum and hyperlocal geek blog Geekadelphia, the awards strive to honor achievements in Philadelphia's vibrant geek scene.
As always, we're honored to find ourselves among such distinguished, geeky company, and we're looking forward to taking our top hats for a stroll down the red carpet this August!
About the Intern Abuser: A ground-breaking interactive experiment in high-tech tomfoolery, the Intern Abuser event was an international success. The experience fused custom robotics, HTML, digital & mechanical gaming elements, and lighthearted skullduggery into a hilarious cybernetic fun machine. Players from all over the world were granted an exclusive opportunity to aim and fire our robotic weaponry over the Internet at targets in our office using an elegant browser-based interface.
